In 2008 we decided to take a cruise around South America. We chose the Star Princess because we liked its itinerary best, and December 7th was our starting day. We flew to Miami, boarded an international flight, and then headed nearly directly south to Santiago, Chile. The international flight was a bit over eight hours, and we were flying overnight. We were quite exhausted by the time we landed in Santiago, Chile.
