In order to get to the Amalia Glacier, Punta Arenas, and Ushuaia, we traveled through the Chilean fiords. As you can tell from the pictures, it was very dark and overcast, and the weather was getting cold!

The southern coast of Chile is a labyrinth of fjords, inlets, canals, twisting peninsulas, glaciers, lakes, and islands. This area is part of the region called Patagonia.
